Hera Gallery Member, Jill McLaughlin will be exhibiting in the "Expressive Matters"
Art Show at the McGrath Judicial Complex, Wakefield, RI.

Works by artists from Argentina, Rhode Island, Minnesota and Japan, will share the walls of the McGrath Judicial Complex, at 4800 Tower Hill Road in South Kingstown, from April 15 through December 13.  There will be an Opening Reception on Saturday, April 20, 2-5 PM.  All four award-winning artists live in Rhode Island.

Born in Minnesota, Jill McLaughlin studied art and photography in Michigan before coming to live in Rhode Island thirty years ago. Inspired by memories, nature and her own inner stories, she uses vintage books, photographs and other objects to create collages that capture the magic in the ordinary.

And so, just days before their secret hideaway was discovered and their exploits became the stuff of local legend, the artists who spent nearly four years homesteading inside Providence Place mall were about to do something that homeowners everywhere can relate to.
