Photographs by Raymond Beausejour are on exhibit in The World’s Smallest Art Gallery* through July 1, 2014. I’ll make you a bet. When you visit The World’s Smallest Art Gallery and see Raymond Beausejour’s National-Geographic-worthy travel photos you will smell bread baking and hear Edith Piaf singing. Your heart will be moved and you will call your travel agent to book a flight to Paris. Ray is French Canadian and use to teach French. He says, “I feel more at home in France than anywhere else in the world. In my next life I’m going to be born in France. I love the French obsession with beauty and the preservation of beauty. They don’t tend to knock things down the way we do.                                              Introducing Your Summer Intern                           Greetings & Salutations to the Hera Gallery Community !                My name is Meredith FitzGerald, I am recent graduated  from URI with            a  BFA  and looking forward to helping Hera in anyway I can. I was born &           raised in Rhode Island,I love the ocean and being surrounded by the beauty           that it holds.              Currently I am  interested in digital art, as it can be easily created into            propaganda.I deal  with issues of contemporary society and female objectification,           as well as   human rights, and tolerance for all cultures.I am also a painter, and for            my    senior  seminar I mixed painting and propagandist subject matter. The show features works from artists Jill Brody, Sally Caswell, Milisa Galazzi, BL Green, Brooke Hammerle, Joan Hausrath, Chris Kelley, Trish Ellwood O'Day, Howard Rubenstein, Myron Rubenstein, Hiroko Shikashio, Kristin Street, Marion Wilner, Cindy Wilson, CC Wold, and Paul Murray! 40th Show Opens Tonight!

Tonight is the long awaited opening of "The 40th Anniversary Exhibition". The show features works from past and present members of Hera and pays tribute to 40 years of the gallery's History. The opening reception takes place tonight from 5-8 Pm at The Hoxie Gallery in Westerly, RI. The show continues on display during Hoxie's regular hours until May 31st. Here is preview of Judy Gelles work in the show titled, "Four Grader in China".

The show is being held at the Hoxie Gallery in Westerly, Rhode Island and features artwork from founding members as well as Hera members from through out the years.
