3rd Annual Juried Art Exhibition Winter's Eve

The East Greenwich Free Library will have it's 3rd Annual Juried Art Exhibit- Winter's Eve will be December 5-January 3, 2014. 
The juror of the exhibition is Gretchen Dow Simpson (gretchendowsimpson.com). As a painter, Gretchen Dow Simpson is known for her crisp, sunny close-up views of New England architecture, 58 of which have been published as covers for the New Yorker magazine. The Friends of East Greenwich Free Library are honored to have Gretchen Dow Simpson as the juror for Winter’s Eve 2013.
The Winter’s Eve “Juror’s Award” includes a SOLO 2014 Exhibit, with reception, at the gallery.If you plan to submit or have questions, please send an email to friendseglibrary@gmail.com.

 IMPORTANT DATES & INFORMATION:
  • Exhibition:  Thursday, December 5 to Friday, January 3, 2014
  • Delivery date: Saturday, November 30, 10am – 1:00pm ($10 per piece or $25 for three)
  • Pickup for declined work:  Monday, December 2, 4:00pm – 6:00 pm
(artists will be notified via email no later than 12/1 of their acceptance/decline status)
  • Pickup of exhibited work:  Saturday, January 4 . 10 am to noon
  • No Commission is required by the Friends of the Library
Opening reception . Thursday, December 5th 6pm – 8pm
