Hera Gallery is pleased to be hosting the 24th Young Adults’ Exhibition. Hera is happy to be back in the heart of Wakefield, and to once again have the opportunity to serve our community by presenting an outstanding art exhibit that celebrates the young artists of our community.  We look forward to hosting the Young Adults’ Exhibition, which has become an eagerly anticipated event on our calendar.

A true celebration of the developing talents from Rhode Island, this show offers High School aged artists from across the state a unique opportunity to present their original artwork to the community in a professional gallery setting.  Over 200 public, private, and home-schooled students will be participating in the exhibition.  The exhibition will feature paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, papier-mâché, and more.  This month long exhibition will showcase the limitless range of technique and creative expression of our local young artists.

This year we are also very excited to be hosting a film festival featuring short films by Rhode Island high schoolers.  In conjunction with the Young Adults’ Exhibition, this event will also provide an opportunity for students to have their work viewed in a profession setting, possibly for the first time in their career.
