Hera Gallery welcomes RhodeTour to South County! Saturday, September 13th 6-7:30pm Rhode Tour is a statewide mobile historical smartphone application that tells stories by and about Rhode Islanders. In a short presentation, we will introduce Rhode Tour and its features. Sandra Enos will discuss Orphanages, Asylums and Almshouses based on research on the history of Rhode Island’s places for its poor, vulnerable, delinquent, hearing impaired and disabled citizens. Barbara Pagh donated TEN postcards to our postcard fundraiser! Any one of these would make a fine addition to your art collection.  Deadline is FRIDAY for submissions. You'll be able to purchase these at our event on Saturday, June 14th from 4-8pm!

It's Throwback Thursday! We're throwing back to the year 2000 when we held our  annual Children's Exhibition in February.   We wonder who amongst these now young adults are still creating art or remain creative in other ways. (We hope all of them!)

Come in this Saturday from 10AM-4PM to view Deborah Baronas's installation piece titled "Into the Shade Installation IV" featured in the new exhibition "Landscape at the Edge: Contemporary Views"!

Due to unfortunate shipping circumstances, Robin Gibson's woodcut, "Rocks", will not be exhibiting in "Landscape at the Edge: Contemporary Views". However we would still like to share it with you! Opening Reception is tonight 6-8pm!

The public is invited to attend the screening, which will take place at Hera Gallery located on 10 High Street Wakefield, RI on February 27th at 7:00pm. The screening will feature the work of eight students from faculty member, Keith Brown’s advanced classes. Today is the perfect day to come in with friends and family to see the Children's Show. The show comes down on February 22nd so time is running out. Hera is filled with special works of art from children of all ages like the this painting title "Sunflowers" by Ben D. in Ms. Schenck's 1st grade art class. We are open Wed-Fri 1-5 Pm and Saturday 10-4 PM! 

The Children's Show is still up at Hera, the show is filled with shining stars from schools around the south county area. Below is a Frito's bag created by Max Duska from Debra Engles 8th grade art class at Chariho Middle School. The gallery is filled with creative pieces like this one from children of all ages. We are open Wed-Fri 1-5 PM and Saturday 10-4 PM!
