Three Hera Gallery Members were recognized this month at Newport Annual Members' Juried Exhibition. The exhibit, on view until May 19th, 2013 " showcases new work by some of the region's brightest lights, rising stars and undiscovered talents". Juried this year by Virginia K. Freyermuth, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Art Edcuation at Rhode Island College, and painter-printmaker Nancy Frieses, Professor at Rhode Island School of Design . Hera Gallery is thrilled to announce, Roberta Richman has won a 2012 Women of Achievement Award! Hera Gallery member, Michael Yefko, will be exhibiting   in the At tleboro Arts Museum's On the Threshold show. Curator  Michele  L’Heureux  has selected his piece  U nder A Knotted Sky- A Tea Party to win a juror's award for this national juried exhibition.  The  openin g awards reception will be on Wednesday, July 18th from 7:00 - 9:00.  The exhibition will run from July 14th to August 10, 2012. The Attleboro Arts Museum gallery hours for "On the Threshold" are Tuesday- Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free and open to the public. Find out more here.
