THURSDAY! URI Student Film Fest at Hera Gallery!
Hera Gallery is pleased to present a film screening featuring the recent films of advanced students from the Harrington School of Communication & Media at URI. The public is invited to attend the screening, which will take place at Hera Gallery located on 10 High Street Wakefield, RI on February 27th at 7:00pm.
The screening will feature the work of eight students from faculty member, Keith Brown’s advanced classes. The program will include the following films:
Loose Ends (Digital) – 20 minutes - Joey Sawyer Shaw
Clocks (16mm)– 5 minutes - Marc Tourigny
Crazy Concoction (Super 16) -8 minutes - Tyler Stephenson-Donley
Red Coat (16mm)- 5 minutes - Ryan Gilman
A New Wonderful (16mm)– 5 Minutes - Alia McAdams and Jeff Ferrara
Fudge Packers (Digital) - 5 Minutes -Jeff Ferrara
Beach Invasion (16mm) - 5 Minutes - Bob Klein
Smashing (Super 8)– 3 Minutes - Amelia Votta
There will be an encore presentation of an audience choice film of either Matt DiGennaro’s This is a Love Story or Ashton Avila’s Needless Wait, both of which are award-winning films from Harrington alumni.
Those who attend will also have a sneak peak of our newest exhibition Four Visions which features new work from Hera's associate members Uli Brahmst, Linda Denosky-Smart, Susan Hayward, and Myron Rubenstein.
Free parking can be located in the parking lot across the street from Hera Gallery.
