UMBRAS An Experimental Light Installation by Chad Amos Self Wednesday, January 16 th , 2013 5:00 – 8:00pm Hera Gallery presents a one night experimental light installation by gallery member Chad Amos Self, entitled Umbras . The one night show will take place in Hera Gallery located on 10 High Street Wakefield, RI on Wednesday, January 16th. The public is invited to attend that evening from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Umbras is about the ways that light and shadow connect and dissipate against each other. It will be a creation of a space in which objects no longer have value or purpose. The manipulation of the immaterial object is paramount to the success of this experiment. This show will highlight the coexistence between the created visible and the perceived invisible spaces.
