Hera Gallery presents a workshop on Grant Writing for Artists . It will be held at Hera Gallery in Wakefield, RI on Wednesday,  April 27 from 7:00 - 9:30 PM.   This workshop demystifies the process of grant writing for both individual artists and collaborative projects. In a step-by-step approach, it covers the complete cycle of grant writing, including preparative research, interaction with funders, budget development, writing proposals,  and assessment of the process. The steps and processes explored can also be easily translated for use in applications to Artist Colonies and Residencies. It is an appropriate workshop for individual artists, collaborative artists and arts organizations. The workshop is presented by Barbara Bernstein, an artist and currently an adjunct lecturer at Rhode Island School of Design.
