New Member, Carl Dimitri

Hera Gallery is pleased to be joined by new member, Carl Dimitri. Carl is an accomplished musician, writer, and artist.

A Providence native, Dimitri moved to Los Angeles to pursue a passion for music in the 80's. After his time in California, he moved to England to return to school and study literature. In 2000, Carl returned to Rhode Island, where he taught, wrote, and worked. Shortly thereafter, painting became more than just a hobby.

Carl Dimitri's work tends to be raw and expressionistic, encorporating satire. He is inspired by Duchamp, Rauschenberg, Van Gogh, Basquiat, Cezanne.

Please keep an eye out on the Hera Gallery homepage for more examples of Carl Dimitri's work.
