Silent Auction Item: Papermaking Workshop for 2

Participate in an intimate studio session with Hera Gallery member and artist, Barbara Pagh. You will be taught how to prepare sheets of handmade paper using Abaca, as well as how to add color and other materials to the pulp. All materials will be provided, you just need to bring your creativity and enthusiasm.

Barbara Pagh is a printmaker/papermaker, and a Professor of Art at the University of Rhode Island. She received her MA degree from New York University and her BA from Mount Holyoke College. She works in stone lithography and photolithography on her own paper in both 2 and 3 dimensions. The images are often derived from landscape or ancient symbols left in the environment.

Barbara Pagh is co-owner of the Queen's River Press with her husband, Jeff Bertwell. She is a member of Hera Gallery in Wakefield, RI and The Printmaker's Network of Southern New England.
