Tonight from 5-7 there will be an opening reception at the Newport Art Museum where 3 Hera Gallery members will be exhibiting their work. The exhibition is titled "19 @ 25" and displays a diverse group of artists and their work. PAINT: A National Juried Exhibition

Hera Gallery is pleased to present PAINT: A National Juried Exhibition , juried by Neal Walsh of AS220's Project Space from October 12 th to November 16 th , 2013. The opening reception is held from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Saturday, October 19th and is open to the public.  The physical properties of paint have inspired artists for centuries. This show challenges the viewer to ponder the possibilities for creative meanings found in the application of paint. Myron Rubenstein Exhibiting at the Peregrine Gallery

Hera Gallery member Myron Rubenstein will be exhibiting his work in the Connect the Dots show at the Peregrine Gallery in Providence. The exhibit opened on September 2nd and will continue until November 1st. Connect the Dots showcases another RI based artist as well as the collages of a San Francisco based artist. Join the artists this Sunday, September 15th from 6-8 pm for the opening reception.This collection of work is both mysterious and whimsical that translates stream of consciousness and free association into line and image. Hera President Barbara Pagh: URI Faculty Exhibition

The annual URI faculty exhibition is back! A perfect way to kick off the new academic year of creative innovation, both full time and adjunct faculty will be exhibiting their works to the public free of charge. The show is currently open at the URI Main Gallery, Fine Arts Center and will run to September 25, 2013.  The exhibition hours are Monday-Friday from 12:30 pm to 4 pm.   Lineations 1 Barbara Pagh Barbara Pagh is a printmaker and papermaker who is a Full Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at URI.  She has been a member of Hera Gallery in Wakefield, RI since 1985, serves on the Board of Directors and is currently President.
