In Cuba With Witness for Peace May 11th – June 8th Opening Reception: Saturday, May 11th, 6:00 – 8:00pm In Cuba With Witness for Peace portrays in photographs the people, culture, and landscape of Cuba. The photographers, Iris Donnelly, Michael Hyatt and Eliud Martinez recorded their trip to Cuba in April, 2012 while part of an Arts and Culture delegation with Witness for Peace New England. The exhibit is consistent with the mission of Witness for Peace (WFP), a nationwide, politically independent grassroots organization, which supports peace, justice, and sustainable economies of the Americas by changing US policies and corporate practices that contribute to poverty and oppression in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Cuban Constitution guarantees its citizens the right to appreciate all forms of artistic expression.
